The girls in Rail Wars! always seem to find time to undress themselves in sticky situations.

In episode 10 and 11, there were some fanservice scenes and I expected the BD's to handle them much better than the broadcast version. I opted not to point out the nipples they drew in for Bernina because I'm not a loli fan, so I was looking forward to episode 11. In addition to losing their underwear allergy for Aoi's scenes, they totally redrew Mari and her towel incident. Banzai!

Between cat-nip crazed kitties and catching her dress on everything, Haruka is torn between keeping her clothes on and running around naked.

I finally had a chance to look at the blu-rays for Rail Wars!, and I went straight to the fanservice episodes of 4, 5, and 6. I have my priorities straight... I was disappointed with the beach and hot springs episode, because there were no changes from the original air version. Five was altered slightly to make absolutely sure you knew that Aoi was not supposed to be wearing panties throughout most of the episode. Yup, that kick where she flashed the bombing suspect? It was redrawn so her thigh was covering up where her white panties had been in the original air version.

By the time I got to six, I didn't have my hopes up. But then Haruka saved the day! And Nana flashed her guns, like a boss!

Nana and Takayama come back from an apology tour and have their own adventure keeping an older train in working order. The Rail Wars! season ends with Takayama's friends all welcoming him back home.

Nana's special episode needs a special end card.

Nana, like a boss, does everything all the other girls got to do with Takayama.

Bernina's attempted kidnapping is halted, but Haruka is kidnapped instead. The rest of Public Safety Crew 4 engineer a rescue, but Aoi and Takayama need rescuing themselves.

When are we going to get more, ah, action shots of Hitomi?



It was all hands on deck for the action and adventure in the second part of the kidnapping story. Or in this show's case, all asses on deck.

Public Safety Crew 4, after some harrowing incidents, safely delivers the organ donation. Aoi comes to respect Takayama's goal to be a train engineer.

 They sure have a lot of sudden showers near those railway stations.

Also, while Haruka and Aoi are still beautiful whatever they wear, those nice dresses aren't really meant for physical adventure.

Noa notices Takayama's harem. A landslide delays an organ donation. Defense Crew 4 takes the old rail line on an old rail engine.

Geh.

Even though this episode is about a landslide up in the rainy hills, this is still a Summer show that has fun at the water park.



Aoi can't seem to stop getting her clothes wet in the rain.

Public Safety Crew 4 receives advanced training, but their teamwork is lacking. Aoi and Haruka begin to face their feelings for Takayama, but Noa the idol makes a surprise visit.

Aoi and Noa will cool you off after they heat things up.

You can always count on training camp to have a hot tub, and sometimes somebody will get lightheaded. Takayama missed the sights...

Takayama thinks he receives a death threat, and Haruka slowly loses all her clothes during the chase. Criminals get caught in the Train Museum as Takayama and Haruka are rescued.

Geh.

Watch out Haruka! That net is closer to some parts of your body than others!

Aoi looks like she's much more serious about this volleyball game than Haruka.

Please come back in a couple of days to look at the uncut version of this review. Haruka is running around in her underwear (and less!), so that means a lot of her screen time was cut out during normal broadcast. What will be shown? Shh. It's a secret.

What are Aoi and Haruka doing at the most famous indoor pool in all of Japanese pornography?



I mean... nice pool... *whistles tunelessly*

I have a feeling there was a lot of broadcast TV style censorship in this episode. Showing swimsuits last week was okay, but bras and panties appear to cross the line.

I think the Station Chief would be ecstatic if Aoi and Haruka joined Noa-sama in a Railways Idol Group.



Fan club member No. 7 should have some pull, no?

Aoi even makes sure to wrap a towel around her to give her someplace to put her baton. Otherwise, where would she put it... Oy, this is not that kind of show!

It's just a given that idols will have pushy fans and stalkers who make physical threats. What kind of society has Japan devolved into? For shame!

The T n A show continues to impress. Even Noa's manager makes a boring pantsuit very interesting.

After one episode, I saw all I need to pick this show up for 10 Second Anime. I don't even care if the writing hits a lull in the middle parts. Why? This.



You've got your nice guy main character who is a full-blown train otaku. You've got the nice girl main character who seems to know our main character from a random encounter in her past. You've got the genki girl who loves to shoot. And you've got your trusting tank who's reliable in a skirmish.

Did I mention genki girl likes to shoot?
