Rail Wars! - Episode 11
Bernina's attempted kidnapping is halted, but Haruka is kidnapped instead. The rest of Public Safety Crew 4 engineer a rescue, but Aoi and Takayama need rescuing themselves.
Geh.
When are we going to get more, ah, action shots of Hitomi? It was all hands on deck for the action and adventure in the second part of the kidnapping story. Or in this show's case, all asses on deck.
Nana just had to rush to her precious Defense Crew 4 to see Takayama in a prince costume. Aoi was not to be outdone in the assitude, er, attitude department.
Aoi has a great attitude! She even went that extra mile in having to take off her ripped up hose again.
Okay, so she hurt her ankle, and Takayama had to wrap it, in a nice bookend to the beginning of last episode.
Haruka had her chance to shine last episode, and the censors took away Mari's awesome contribution to inadvertent fan service (although I did see a hint of what it was supposed to be from the preview of the previous episode...), so Mari had to catch up for lost opportunities. She knows how to calm a girl down: hot shower!
Such a reliable girl, that Mari.
Update.
The uncensored version has a bit more barbie doll nudity for Mari's adventures in advanced towel wrapping.I'm not exactly sure why she's dropping towel like this in front of Aoi. Does she want Takayama to take the harem route?
Heh.
Well, there was action and adventure this time around too, with some unoriginal, yet enjoyable twists. Haruka was in the decoy room, and she did her job. A little too well, if she was getting kidnapped herself. Now we know why that one guy was rolling around such a big suitcase.Takayama got to play the prince, even if his pants were too short. I think Aoi hurt her ankle just as an excuse to get the storied princess carry.
With some teamwork, knowledge of the cab to cause a distraction, and somehow hitting a target from a moving train with a handgun, all the bad guys were taken down.
Hey, if you spray bullets all over the place, stuff might get broken? Wow, that's like, too real and stuff. That was actually a good device to get us to the inevitable decoupling of cars to abandon the runaway engines. And it gave us a chance to see Haruka's best impression of Rose from Titanic.
Haruka's heart will go on, until the next train stop.
Hitomi sure does like riding those big black locomotives. No metaphor there...
Hmm.
Only one more episode?! I feel that with how unconnected each of the little adventures are, this anime could go on for a while. It reminds me so much of You're Under Arrest (Taiho Shichauzo), where nothing happened in that police show either, just continuity based story-telling.Well, I can't complain too much, since the last episode is all about Nana and Takayama. Nana is best girl!
