Finds from the Grind - Pull Get Pulled
Another windy day on the San Gabriel River Trail. Friendly riders take turns pulling in those conditions. Just one of these days this Spring, I'd like to have a ride without some puffy air in my face. When it gets hot, that still air is not going to help the body temperature regulation, so I'd like a nice temperate day where I feel like I'm actually going fast without burning myself out. Maybe tomorrow...

Finds from the Grind - The Little Engine That Could
Forming a little train up the San Gabriel River Trail with little old me as the main engine. This was my first long ride of the year. For the first 12 weeks of 2016, I've been building my base fitness, so my weekend rides were still pretty boring and not very long. If you call only 2 hours of riding not very long... Anyway, I changed my regimen a little bit to get stronger in a shorter amount of time. Usually that means increasing your training load, but I didn't really want to ride an extra 20% to 25% increase in mileage. Instead, I added core workouts, building up to 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups after my hour long daily ride.

Spring 2016 Anime Preview Notes
These are literally my notes after checking out the schedule for the Spring 2016 season. I have tentative groupings for shows I'm considering to review in the 10 Second Anime feature and shows which will probably have some nice images but not a lot to think about. I won't know if I'll have enough to write about or whether some shows will be interesting enough for me to jump from the Omake section to 10 Second Anime until after I've watched them.
The starred shows are ones I've committed to either watching because they're established titles or from top tier anime studios. Spring looks like there are many more titles that catch my eye than what happened during the Winter. We shall see how everything shakes out after the first three weeks of the season.
Update: Check below to see how my first impressions have affected my viewing schedule. Only three shows are on the bubble, but I can see them being good enough not to piss me off for the entire season.
