Ren relived a memory of her mother looking through a school yearbook. The child carried a small puppy with her as she watched her mother say something important.
Kanon and Keke felt stunned and amazed at Chisato's new school uniform. She hadn't told them that she was dropping out of the performing arts program to join the school idol club.
Strangely, the all-girls school had never had a student council, much less a student council president. Ren decided it was time to run for office. That decision appeared connected to the school's finances. Keke wanted Kanon to run against Ren because she feared Ren would cancel the school idol club if she gained power. Kanon was deadset against it and encouraged Sumire to assuage her ego as a presidential candidate. Sumire lost embarrassingly, even gathering negative votes!
Ren won easily because she promised that she would treat the general curriculum students the same as the performance arts program. At her first speech, she broke her promise! Now the students want a recall, and Sumire is ready for a comeback. Before things got too crazy, Kanon wanted to ask Ren why she hated school idols so much. When the school idol club got inside Ren's house, the girls discovered that Ren's and the school's finances were in dire straits. Her big dog "Chibi" must cost her a lot for dog food.
