The opening credits featured White Blood Cell U-1196 but we also saw the main cell personalities we'll see throughout the season.
Red Blood Cell AA2153 met many other White Blood Cells, like the cleaning lady Macrophages who are always on edge in an unhealthy body and U-1196 who appears to be sweet on AA2153, so her junior members 8787 and 1212 want to tease her by teasing him. The scariest thing for him, though, was learning how they actually dispose of the bacteria they defeat. Busty man-eating women are thrilling yet scary.
The ojisan red blood cells showed the rookies what they need to do to detox, which was basically treating the oxygen delivery system as salarymen and the liver as the night club district. Instead of getting the cells drunk, they extract the alcohol out of them. Sadly, this is also the place where red blood cells go to die. We saw White Blood Cells eat up bacteria which foreshadowed how Kupffer cells send workers to heaven.
Funnily, AA2153 liked Hepatocyte comforting him, but he also felt like he was cheating on U-1196. The poor guy starts to build his harem starting in the second episode.
The end credits gave me great scenes of my favorite set of white blood cells. They're my favorite because they swing big swords, eat rare meat, and open their shirts down to their sternums.
