Leave it to Naruto and his family relationship with the toads to give us some laughs. Gamakichi has gotten too big for his britches. When we were first introduced to him, he could sit on Naruto's head. Now he's as big as Gamabunta. Like he said, toads don't grow too fast; humans grow too slow. It's true though, everytime we've seen Gamakichi he's been bigger since the last time we saw him.

The original deadlock was that snakes eat toads, toads eat slugs, and slugs melt snakes. If one of them tries to make a move on the other, somebody is going to get hurt or eaten. Jiraiya really showed his hope that the snake would never try to eat him, which is why he never tried to kill Orochimaru. He hoped he would turn back in the end, and it looks like he did.

I always get a kick out of how girly Katsuyu sounds.

Great way to bring back Naruto's own hope that Sasuke would turn back toward the village. When he was training to turn the rasengan into a complete jutsu, he realized his wind-natured chakra (which is why this time skip was called the legend of the great wind, which was translated to Hurricane Chronicles, and not for Orochimaru trying to see Sasuke as a wind that turns the windmill of the world) would not only negate Sasuke's lightning based attacks, but also reinforce his fire-natured chakra. Using the sharpest wind based attack combined with the hungriest fire attack on the 10-Tailed Beast puts it all together.

Tsunade has a nice flat belly...

Karin's feelings for Sasuke are too extreme. Pure hate and lovey-dovey causes some hard cognitive dissonance there.

With a pause in the action as the 10-Tailed Beasts recoils from the Amaterasu and Rasen Shuriken, we have time for Obito and Kakashi next episode, with some more banter between Madara and Hashirama. The battle is far from over.
