Up and down the very steep Chaney Trail in Altadena. This is video showing how I blew myself up on a 30% grade. I wasn't just sightseeing when I took a break in the middle of that climb. A mile of pain. The descent is no fun either with how steep it is. Mountain bikers passed me on the way down because I have a much longer braking distance compared to their disc brakes. But as soon as I got back on Loma Alta when I knew I didn't have any blind curves, I was doing the passing.
