After the tense, dangerous moments dealing with Drakken Joe and the evil version of Shiki, the peaceful ocean air and beach setting let the Edens Zero crew relax. Bring on the fanservice! Weisz, the horn dog, enjoyed the views.
Sunset came, and Shiki's friends noticed the falling particles of Light Ether. The setting star supplied a beautiful scene, but Weisz enjoyed Homura's even more. She repaid him with a well-deserved kick to the face.
Later, the crew noticed a spaceship crash into the ocean. They went to investigate but found the pilot to have expired long ago. Then a monster octopus attacked them, forcing the Edens Zero crew to take refuge in an underwater city. They found a connection to Mother and to the recently crashed pilot! They're still wearing swimsuits, so the underwater adventures will be a fanservice arc.
