Bertrand and Loki watched the capital city descend into chaos. The Archon of trickery and illusion warned Bertrand about other Archons that used unusual powers not connected to the Assembly for energy. Ataru's weapon system belonged to the capital's defense, but we saw how worshippers supply her now. But Loki and Dakini were independent operators who oversaw the deviants in the Isolation Villages. We know Loki wants to become God, but what is Dakini's goal?
Yukito devised a plan to provoke Dakini using Riche's unique skill set. We learned that Riche and Alural shared a love of "forbidden books" (sex doujins), and Riche's inspiration made her fellow cult members think she was their biggest slut. Riche's lovemaking sessions (lectures on sex toys and aphrodisiacs) drew followers of her own, enough for Dakini to notice her power levels stopped increasing.
Yukito predicted that Dakini would return to execute heretics, but the Archon did not count on Riche's natural otaku charisma to turn Dakini's followers against her. She was perceptive enough to realize the consequences of harming Riche: she would lose even more followers! So, Yukito escaped a death sentence, but how would he and his group escape prison?
KamiKatsu does a fun thing with its opening credits by using them to preview the episode. But it takes the scenes and applies an artistic filter to them. Look what it did for Riche's drama class under Yukito's demon acting coaching.
