Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete - Episode 12 - 10 Second Anime

Enormita, Tres Magia, and the city rebuild and recharge. Utena’s method: invading Tres Magia’s panties!

Episode 12 — “Supreme Commander Magia Baiser Calls the Shots”

Hmm.

Every hero needs a nemesis. This has been true since the ancient Greeks invented the dramatic arts. Gushing over Magical Girls embraced this dynamic throughout the season as it implicitly paired magical girls with evil villains. We’ve had hints about who belongs to whom during episodes, but the show’s official news outlets have explicitly announced which magical girl matches which villain. The official promo artwork doesn’t lie!

Magia Azure and Baiser have an intimate relationship in all the connotations, so their coupling is apparent. Leoparde and Magia Sulfur, plus their alter egos Kiwi and Kaoruko, share brash personalities. That leads to positive feedback loops whenever they get together. They have too much fun fighting! But Gushing over Magical Girls never provided an overt reason why Magia Magenta and Neroalice would be drawn to each other. We had clues about Magenta (and Haruka) enjoying playing with children at playgrounds that pointed at her as a big sister-type. Korisu most wants to play with her hardworking mother, explaining why she prefers older girls who remind her of her mother. But Haruka’s direct motivation for protecting children is having toddler triplet sisters!

Each villain and hero pair in Gushing over Magical Girls follows the nemesis formula. The strength that draws them together also contains their weaknesses. And thus, their doom. Baiser will keep tormenting Azure until they’re both exhausted because Sayo’s sensually masochistic responses spur Utena’s erotic sadism. Leoparde and Magia Sulfur will fight in distinctly unfeminine fashions because their rudeness sparks masculine competition and rivalry. Girls are supposed to be sugar and spice and everything nice. Not fisticuffs and explosions. That’s what Leoparde and Sulfur’s relationship is made of. And Haruka will play with Korisu until it’s naptime because that’s what big sisters do. These matchups of magical girl and villain lead to entertaining stalemates.

And that is Utena’s new evil organization policy: make the heroes suffer a bit, then withdraw! That’s the Magical Girl and Sentai Ranger anime formula for fighting evil space alien organizations! Are you prepared for decades of Enormita battling the Magical Girl Idol Production Agency? My body is ready!

Heh. Geh.

Vatz has a construction army of golems. Is this a form of slavery that Venalita objects to? Ha. Sulfur wears a cute construction hard hat but does not sit cutely. The Magical Girl Idol Production Agency is unaware of known Enormita villains fighting to stop the town’s destruction. Meanwhile, Enormita has a board meeting with the new executives in charge. Someone chose terrible new job titles. Ah. Of course, it was Kiwi, Captain of the “Baiser-chan Love and Appreciation Squad.” Utena fried her mind by turning a human into a sex fetish object (disclaimer: children are not sex fetish objects). Flowers, scissors, and rice glue bottles don’t expend nearly as much energy.

Kiwi’s oppai energy drink looks like the perfect pick-me-up. Utena’s revenge on Lord Enorme is bittersweet because it doesn’t bring back the magical girls the villain defeated. Who says they’re gone? Can Gushing over Magical Girls clear that up? What do cracked magical crystals do to their owners? Are there evil magical girls? Venalita never offers any clues. Naptime for Utena means naptime for Korisu, too. And her lap! Kiwi is jealous. Ha! News about Tres Magia’s return perked Utena right up. Azure transformed into a new form, and Utena needs to see it! It’s not a spoiler; it’s a field report! Venalita knows his recruit so well — Utena can recharge by watching Tres Magia as it repairs the city. Leave your Trans Magia crystal behind, though.

Vatz’s golems are cute but ineffective at reconstruction. Squee! Utena can hang out with Magia Azure! Sayo recognizes Utena, but the transformation spell blocks recognition the other way. Aw. Utena’s confidence in magical girls has been restored! I sense a hint of where Gushing over Magical Girls will go from here. If magical girls don’t break, what has happened to the owners of the cracked crystals?

Here we go. Utena wants to put her hands on Azure! Uh oh. Azure thinks those hands feel familiar. The backrub finished, but how about those sore glutes? Buy those Blu-rays for all the ASMR moaning, squealing, and heavy breathing. Yes. Sayo’s cooch is Utena’s Holy Grail. What’s behind that bright light? How can Sayo look Utena in the eye when they go back to school?

Magia Baiser has a new policy for Enormita. Play with the Magical Girls and then run away! Team Baiser is on board! Well. That gives Nemo and Matama more time for “dating.” Utena’s group has its own excursion plans: replace Korisu’s toys. Hilarious. The toys have boys, but the world in Gushing over Magical Girls has none. Adorable! Haruka has triplet little sisters! Oops. Kiwi thought Korisu would like an “Ultra-Ma’am” sword. Haruka’s sisters approve, though. Peer pressure works, everyone.

Uh oh. Korisu transformed into Neroalice! Kaiju attacks! Hahaha! The adults are scared, but Haruka’s triplet sisters love the spectacle. The city just finished all the repairs. Will Baiser stop Neroalice, or will Magia Magenta misunderstand what’s going on? It’s time for the Supreme Leader to enact Enormita’s new policy. That’s a giant magical girl. Ultra Magenta! Vatz should update those magical girl costumes to include culottes. Neroalice is having too much fun playing with city block-sized toys.

Hahaha! Enormita and Tres Magia are fighting all over Magenta’s body! “Play-fighting” policy is in effect. Sayo! Phrasing! Tugging, ripping, and scrambling. Obscene! Happy endings for everyone. Next time, the season finale.
