Elma loves the food in Japan, while Fafnir leans heavily into otaku culture. Lucoa and Ilulu expose children to their big chests as they enjoy watching them grow up. Kanna is the dragon most like Chloe in her experiences because of her lack of maturity. The episodic theme of a stranger in a strange land fits perfectly into Dragon Maid’s overall theme. Everyone is more alike than we realize, so we should all become friends. But dragon friends make the best friends!

Yay! Chloe came to visit Kanna in Japan. Kanna and Tohru planned many things for her American friend. Chloe doesn’t even have time to unpack. First up, shoot people up in a VR arcade! Pick up souvenirs in a gacha ball arcade!

Before we go further, Riko needs to join the party. She tried to be jealous of Chloe’s friendship with Kanna, but Chloe is too cute! Next up, invite Japan’s number one foodie dragon to take an American on a tasty tour. Elma’s chest says it’s “umai (delicious).” Yes, yes, it is. But before the eating comes the fighting. Okay, now we eat!

Now that Riko and Chloe are best friends with Kanna, the trio needs to do their little kid activities. Riko is in heaven! Playing the line game, going to the pool, and watching pretty girls play Twister is majiyabakune (mad wicked)!

Chloe’s last night before going home is fireworks and a barbecue party. Chloe notices how easily Kobayashi interacts with the dragons. Kobayashi calls Chloe an American dragon.
