It's been nine years since the first season of "The Devil is Part-Timer!" ended, so the sequel needed to catch us back up with all the characters. The first drama involved defeating a cockroach. The second drama was a tremendous golden apple popping out of a gate to hell. Even more surprising, that apple became a baby girl!
The little girl fell asleep after catching Emi's holy sword and transforming from an apple into her current form. She knew her name, Alas Ramus, and who her parents were. Papa was Maou, and mama was Emi! That was news to the devils and heroes.
Chiho didn't do much in the episode except become incredibly happy that Maou protected her from a dimensional gate. So I was glad to see her feature heavily in the end credits.
