Arc strongly bonded with Chiyome's hulking counterpart Goemon. The operation to save the cat-people was a success. Chiyome and Ariane appreciated the wanton destruction that Arc and Goemon waged on the evil prince's slave markets. That prince's sister escaped an assassination attempt and traveled to her older sister's kingdom. Yuriarna asked her sister, the queen of the neighboring land, to let people think she died in the attempt. Arc accidentally involved himself in a fight for royal succession when he resurrected Princess Yuriarna.
