JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stone Ocean - Episode 12 [END] - Ocean Free Blocks Poisonous Frogs

Jolyne's situation was already dire, but Weather Report's "help" could have hurt her more.

Jolyne and Weather Report defeated Lang Rangler, but Jolyne immediately ran into Father Pucci. He allowed her to walk into the prison courtyard to complete her hand-off to Speedwagon Foundation. But it was an ambush! Pucci explained to the audience that he met Dio, who convinced him he knew how to attain Heaven. But Joutarou killed Dio and destroyed his journal, so Dio's knowledge appeared lost. Then Pucci learned that Joutarou memorized Dio's journal, so Joutarou's memory disc would have the Keys to Heaven. Pucci's worst outcome would be for Joutarou to come back and end Pucci's plans.

Weather Report was horribly injured and couldn't follow Jolyne into the courtyard, but he still could help her. He made it rain frogs! But not just any frogs, poisonous frogs! That ended the threat from the prison guard. However, Jolyne needed to protect herself from poison too. She turned her protection into a trap and distraction against Pale Snake. The Speedwagon Foundation successfully captured the Star Platinum disc!

This was a convenient place to end the story for Stone Ocean's first half. Jolyne failed to find out who Pale Snake's Stand Master was, but she succeeded in preserving her father's life. She also survived getting shot in the gut twice. Pucci still has Joutarou's memories, so he can use Dio's writings. It appears that "Heaven" means eternal life. And it looks like Pucci wants to resurrect Dio! What can he do with a bone from Dio's skeleton? Find out in October when the anime resumes.
