Futaba wanted to take her girly friend Aiko to the aquarium. She hoped to break the news to Aiko that she likes fishing in a closely associated setting. The aquarium had an attraction where patrons could catch their lunch. Futaba did all the gross things involved with fishing for Aiko. After lunch, Futaba nervously confessed her interest in outdoorsy stuff to Aiko. Aiko's response? She knew all that already! She was mad that Futaba might not have liked doing Aiko's girly hobbies! The girls resolved their misunderstanding as proud big sister Ichika looked on. Futaba then gave Ichika a sentimental present, which caused Ichika to turn on the waterworks. Meanwhile, summer vacation was still on, and Koharu needed more fishing!
The girls' next fishing trip went to a river. Koharu felt excited to use her new fly and her improved casting. Unfortunately, she didn't fool the fish because the river flow moved the lure differently than the ocean. Koi taught Koharu how to pick up the fly against the water, and then Koharu started catching fish again.
No, Ichika was not pointing out her delectable tan lines. She was proud of the pearl necklace Futaba got from the aquarium and gave her. That led to a discussion on how their parents wore their wedding rings. Some wore them on a neck chain instead of their fingers. Koharu and Hiyori realized their parents never had a wedding or wore new wedding rings. The impetuous Koharu decided to throw her mom and dad a wedding reception with the fish she caught from the river!
Hiyori is not much of a cook, so she did table service. Koharu prepared the soup and main fish dish. Hiyori's mom and Koharu's dad decided they didn't need to have a wedding ceremony after the splendid dinner their daughters made for them. I hope they get wedding rings, though.
