Kawai's first stakeout happened at a love hotel when she and Minamoto tailed a meth dealer. Yamada realized that Fuji's beautiful exterior drew attention from the public. He had forgotten since her rough language and attitude made him think she was a mountain gorilla.
Kawai saw Minamoto's interrogation skills up close. He looked like he was wasting time, but he bided his time to play an emotionally charged card. The only thing he's good at is charming female suspects into confessions.
