The latest anime based on a video game of waifus inspired by military equipment comes to the winter season of 2022. Dolls' Frontline (Girls' Frontline), a gacha-based mobile game featuring guns as girls, has been trading popularity with Azur Lane and Kantai Collection. It's the Tactical Dolls' turn to battle each other for our hearts and dollar bills.
Years after WWIII, two organizations of Tactical Dolls, also called T-Dolls, continue to fight each other. The robot girls fought for the different factions during the war. But the circumstances for Griffin & Kryuger's mission against Sangvis Ferri's High-End dolls remain a mystery. Team AR, led by M4A1 over M16A1, M4 SOPMOD II, and ST AR-15, needs to retrieve data that Agent of Sangvis Ferri wants.
The difference between the G&K dolls with the Sangvis Ferri dolls is how the tactical squad leader can issue commands to individual unit members. The Sangvis Ferri dolls can only make orders to designated groups.
Team AR's organizational advantage can only help a commando squad go so far against superior numbers. The Agents, which have a brilliant design, command legions of Rippers and are tanks themselves. They can also intercept signal communications between the Team AR girls. Fortunately, Team AR has another advantage: they're friends who train together! They don't need the constant communication links that dumb T-Dolls need. After defeating the deadly maids with deadly thighs, the G&K squad split up so M4A1 could deliver the data. M4A1 wanted to quickly come back to rescue her friends!
The end credits gave us long, loving pans over the Team AR members. Choose your gun waifu preference! Like the ship waifu animes, Girls' Frontline has a talented cast of voice actors to make your selection difficult.
