After defeating the humanoid demon and her horde, Kyouka visits Tenka’s Squad 6 dorm with Yuuki and Himari.

Episode 7 — “United Front, Tenka, Soar”

Hmm.

I am disappointed. I expected a degenerate display of a threesome fetish for Yuuki’s reward of serving two masters. But Chained Soldier gave us the relatively innocent two-girl bath attendant scenario. And Yuuki only wanted a relaxing bath! Kyouka’s earlier solo sessions with Yuuki explored textbook definitions of sex fetishes — sexual satisfaction transferred to objects and totems set apart from reproductive activity. You know. The kinky stuff!

I wonder if Himari’s introduction to Yuuki’s heterosexual experience added a chaste factor to his subconscious impulses. Kyouka always gave off the air of a dominatrix mistress because she treated Yuuki as a slave from the start. But Himari’s work with Yuuki was more like a partnership as they practiced using his powers. Does Yuuki desire the girlfriend experience from the coquettish second-in-command? I would like to see Kyouka react to this added emotional dimension with expressions of jealousy, possessiveness, and stronger feelings. I hope Tenka’s request to borrow Yuuki will spur Kyouka’s romantic development. Delicious drama!

Kyouka, Himari, and Yuuki are in the middle of the demon horde attack from last week. Yuuki likes using his halitosis fire breath strike. Shushu enjoys stomping Shuuki zako, and Super Saiyan Sahara zips around the battlefield. The hulking, talking Shuuki complains that only two “targets” are present. Does she mean Kyouka and Tenka? The Squad 6 Commander knows how to flit around using her portals. Ginna is still fangirling over Kyouka and Tenka. I want to fangirl, er, fanboy over Tenka, too! Tenka’s Peach ability is Amenomi Tori (天御鳥命, lit. — Celestial Bird Command). Now we know why her portals in Chained Soldier have pink feathers flying everywhere. Did Tenka suck Rairen into outer space? Or turn her into spaghetti through a rift in spacetime? Either way, youch!

Ah. The Demon Defense Force calls the talking female demons “Generals.” Are they like squad commanders? Nei did her best to find them, but the enemies also escaped her notice until it was too late. She’s still a good girl! Yay! Yuuki made a new fan out of Ginna. Autograph, please! Yuuki made news for girls, “boys can be talented sometimes, too!” Aw. Himari and Yachiho reconciled in their unique tsundere ways. Himari is still not coming home with her big sister, though. Tenka looks like she would like to see Yuuki again.

But first, Chained Soldier needs to answer a question. What is Yuuki’s double reward? It’s double soapland play! Aw, how tame. Yuuki genuinely wanted a thorough lather and scrub-down. No extra pull and tug techniques, this time, anyway. Kyouka confirmed that Yuuki felt more tired than usual because he had two masters. Ooh. Nei has a future as a shoujo manga artist. She drew the demon generals and still added the flower frame. Uh oh. Tenka could definitely use her portal powers for stalking. Ginna shows off her autograph and selfie with Yuuki in the second eye-catcher.

Field trip! Himari drives Kyouka and Yuuki to the Squad 6 dorm. What’s the occasion? All the squadron dorms look like a traditional Japanese ryokan (inn). Ah. Tenka and Kyouka have a squadron leader meeting. How will Himari and Yuuki occupy themselves? Yuuki volunteers to take on housemother duties because Squad 6’s caretaker is off today. What about Himari? Squad 6 has much sexy laundry to take care of. Who wears the teddy bear panties? Oh! Mato Seihei no Slave showed Squad 7’s laundry in Yuuki’s memory. Nei must like bears.

Ahahaha! It’s not surprising how Yachiho decorated her room with Himari pictures. It’s a regular feature of obsessed older sisters in anime. I like YuruYuri’s combo of Akari and Akane Akaza the best. Back away calmly, Yuuki, then run away in a panic! The girls of Squad 6 understandably act unguardedly about protecting their modesty. Still, that’s some sloppy sleeping from Sleepy Sahara. She sleep-wrestles instead of sleepwalks. Enjoy the moment, Yuuki. Enjoy it while you can.

Weight training montage for Chained Soldier with Yachiho. Sahara explains how she agrees with the theory that Peach skills stem from a girl’s personality. So, Himari’s Learning came from watching and copying her big sister excel at sports and academics. And Yachiho’s time control ability came from wanting to spend more time with her little sister. Believable, as we saw from Yachiho’s sister-complex decorations. Himari’s tsundere tendencies do not accept Sahara’s notion. Yuuki tells Sahara that it would be better to keep Himari from Yachiho’s room, though.

In the squad commanders’ meeting, Tenka drops the news that the Demon Defense Forces have confirmed four humanoid Shuuki. That’s what the audience has seen in Chained Soldier so far. Meanwhile, three of those Shuuki lounge in their lair. One plays with items from a toy chest full of human devices. Did the demons collect the items from those who slipped into the Mato for feeding? The snake girl uses portals, too, and had rescued Rairen before the brawny demon stretched into noodles. Princess Medusa’s name is Shikoku, and Jouryuu is the dark-skinned dragon lady’s name. They tried to assess the squad commanders’ strengths but underestimated the levels between regular soldiers and their leaders. Well. Brawn-for-brains Rairen did that, jumped in to attack Tenka, and Shikoku had to rescue parts of her butt. Oh no, Kyouka. Tenka wants to borrow Yuuki. For what?
