Mato Seihei no Slave - Episode 11 - 10 Second Anime

Aoba and her friends continue to fight Tenka and Kyouka’s squads. But can they unite against a common enemy?

Episode 11 — “Death Match, Aoba, Excite”

Meh.

As I had feared, most of the Chained Soldier episode lacked dramatic tension. The only eye-popping moment (or belly-popping) came after Shushu used her Paradigm Shift ability to shrink and grow to quickly defeat Coco and Kuma-douji. We had ample clues about how the Squad 6 and 7 members fight, so none of the tactics were surprising. Worse, we also knew these Japanese girls would unite against the demon commanders as soon they showed up. The emotional stakes were low, so I only hoped the inevitable alliance would happen as quickly as possible. Let’s hope the season finale is more entertaining.

Heh. Geh.

Rude. Aoba unleashed her Mato Peach bad breath on her visitors. Kyouka finally has a chance at revenge against Unihorn. Waterfall training and glass-cutting nipples prepared Kyouka for this moment. The fight to watch is between Tenka and Aoba, though. But can Tenka kill her future sister-in-law? Uh oh. What does “Big Sister Mode: Invincible” look like? Ah. Just faster, stronger, and with heightened senses. It’s a war of attrition between Yuuki’s big sister and almost-girlfriend.

What’s going on with Shushu, Sahara, and Coco? Kuma-douji is tough, and Coco’s juice heals herself. Oh no. Jealous misunderstanding activated! Shushu even thinks Aoba is Yuuki’s lover, not his older sister. I wish the Oni Girls could remove their black skin as Shushu imagined. Oh? What is Formation “S?” Sahara doesn’t like it. Ha. Hahaha! Kuma-douji, eat this! Ouch! Pepto Bismal won’t fix that tummy upset. Can Coco Juice? Looks like it. Nobody has died so far.

Chained Soldier checks in with the Azuma sisters. Naon must defeat them “beautifully.” There’s no tension here. It’s only a matter of how Yachiho uses her time control to coordinate with Himari. Naon swims through solid material with a dolphin kick. Of course. Yachiho took advantage of the situation for skin-to-skin contact with her little sister. Whoa. Medusa gun hair on Himari. Now Yachiho can tell Himari where Naon will be to shoot the Oni Girl. Did Akura the Shuuki die? There’s no Coco Juice nearby to heal him.

How is Tenka doing against Aoba? Ooh. Teamwork! Aoba has healing abilities, though. Oh. But Tenka can’t kill the Oni Girl because doing so would make Yuuki sad. Beautiful girls hurting themselves for Yuuki’s sake would sadden him more. Aw. The second eye-catcher shows Naon putting on a fashion show for the Oni Girl Village.

Aoba likes Tenka now because she cares about Yuuki’s feelings. Tenka fantasizes about a Wakura wedded bliss. I want more details about that wedding night. Kuma-douji doesn’t look so hot. It must be something he ate. Coco and he picked up Naon on the way. This is good timing for Chained Soldier because those three Shuuki Goddesses just arrived.

The dragon lady, Jouryuu, doesn’t like Aoba. The goddesses call the Oni Girls “inferior mutts.” Shikoku calls her group “The Eight Thunder Gods,” whose goal is to kill all humans. One of her snakes had bitten Kidoumaru and turned him back into Unihorn. Metaphor alert: Kidoumaru threw off Aoba’s chains as Yuuki took on Kyouka’s. Conclusion in the season finale!

Aw. Last Nei-sensei omake. Nei explains how Mato Peaches affected Aoba and what skill she gained. The final episode must need Nei’s time for an epilogue.
