Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san - Episode 5 - 10 Second Anime

Nagatoro offers to cut Senpai’s hair. On a hot summer day, Nagatoro suggests Senpai join her for shaved ice.

Episode 5 – “Senpai’s Poofball / Thanks, Senpai!”

Hmm.

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san has settled into its episode structure, starting with a prologue and then two half episodes. One of those focuses on gag comedy and the other allows for small moments of character development and relationship progress. Gamo-chan and Yoshi provide great material for sexy gyaru comedy, but they’re still picking on Senpai to make digs at Nagatoro. I’d like to see their other friend Sakura join them for more funny spicy moments.

Senpai made personal progress in Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, which is always welcome to see. He was much more assertive this week. He covered Nagatoro with a blanket as she napped. That scored points with her. While waiting in line, he blocked some dudes leering at Nagatoro’s bra through her sweat-soaked blouse. Those points go to Senpai for becoming a better man.

Finally, Senpai stood up to Nagatoro herself by dragging her out of line when she was suffering from the heat. It was obvious that she was out of it because she didn’t put up a fight at all. She felt better once she properly hydrated herself. She wasn’t angry either because she appreciated Senpai’s concern for her. Senpai scored so many points with Nagatoro that she gave him ice cream and her chatline details. That came just in time for a summer vacation in Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san! Senpai won’t have a peaceful time catching up with his anime and video games.

Heh.

Nagatoro’s opening gambit for teasing Senpai is calling him gross. No reaction? Did Senpai grow a spine? Nothing’s working for Nagatoro! Surreal. Uh. Yoshi and Gamo-chan come in and defend him. There’s a joke building here. Senpai leaves with them! It’s Nagatoro’s worst nightmare. Ha! It was a nightmare. She can’t admit to Senpai what scared her. Aw. He made a caring gesture for her while she napped. Bigger aw! Nagatoro claims Senpai less gross today. That counts as a compliment in Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san.

The first half starts with Nagatoro chickening out again. She can’t keep her hands off Senpai, but she gets too excited over him touching her. Senpai should be accustomed to Nagatoro’s swimsuit trick by now. All armpit fans should be happy, though.

Where is Nagatoro going with this sheep video? That’s concerning that she likes the shearing part of cute fluffy sheep losing their fluff. Uh oh. She wants to shear Senpai’s fluffy hair! Did she plan this or not? She brought her brother’s hair trimmer, but Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san showed her just now connecting sheep-shearing with Senpai’s poofy hair. She planned it because she brought a comb and scissors too! Or was she attending to personal grooming in the swimming club locker room?

Senpai’s trust in Nagatoro has certainly grown since the first episode. He can appreciate the intimacy of a girl he knows cutting his hair and running her hand through her hair. Haircut interrupted! By Gamo-chan and Yoshi. It’s a trap! Don’t give them any ideas, Senpai! Ack, too late. Yoshi has special equipment to weigh Senpai down. Here’s Nagatoro come to save the day! Fast retreat for Gamo-chan and Yoshi. Haircut back on. Such a cute scene.

The second half of Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san shows us Senpai and Nagatoro walking home again, this time under a sweltering summer sky. Nagatoro wants shaved ice from her favorite local shop. Oh no. There’s a huge line at the ice shop because it was on TV yesterday. Nagatoro stubbornly wants to stand in line. Good for Senpai. He protects Nagatoro’s purity from lecherous leers.

Even better for Senpai. Protect Nagatoro! She’s back to her genki self after a bottle of water. Adorable. Nagatoro denigrated convenience store ice cream compared to Mt. Everest shaved ice, but she enjoyed the best-tasting crunchy lemon ice cream with Senpai.

Ah. Summer vacation starts now. Nagatoro will be in a racing swimsuit all that time. Nice to know. Senpai thinks he’ll watch anime, play video games, and finish his oil paintings. Not if Nagatoro can help it! Senpai thought he would have a quiet summer break, but that’s not happening after he exchanged phone info with Nagatoro. Senpai just might have the best summer of his life! Oho. Nagatoro forced Senpai to think about an indirect kiss on his drink bottle just so she could spam his chat calling him a perv. That little minx!
