Go-toubun keeps hammering on Itsuki's goal to become a teacher by having one of her mother's former students pay respects to Rena-sensei's grave and share stories about how the seriously beautiful teacher inspired and enchanted all the students at her school. Delinquent Shimoda became Shimoda-sensei due to Itsuki's mother's influence. Meanwhile, Ichika has trouble dealing with her growing crush on Fuutarou, even losing money and sleep over him.
Yotsuba finally got her Fuutarou time on the Ferris Wheel when he tracked her down for studying when she should have been taking a break from studying with her sisters in the amusement park. Yotsuba heard the amazing news that although she has the reputation as being the dumbest of the quintuplets, she's the best at Japanese composition and literature. She's so good at something academically, Fuutarou wants her to tutor her sisters with him on this subject. Her heart fluttered at all the compliments.
During the countdown to the final exams, the show totally ignored the drama of Miku and Nino making chocolate for Fuutarou's Valentine's Day offering. Miku wanted to be Fuutarou's number one instead of the sisters' top scorer on the last mock exam. We should have seen all the blushing from Nino and Ichika about giving Fuutarou chocolate, but we're rushing through the ending in this anime adaptation.
All the girls passed their final exams, but just when Miku thought she could aim at Fuutarou romantically when she connected getting the highest score among her sisters to get first dibs, Ichika beat her by two points! Drama is coming hard and fast now.
