The Strike Witches used the Berlin Underground to get under the Wolf Dome and found the Wolf Neuroi had created the dome from a blueprint of a planned Nazi capital city. As they attacked the central dome, Shizuka and Mio from a B-17 saw the external dome grow transparent.
The eye catches show the plans for the Landkreuzer Ratte we saw last episode and Yoshika looking up at the sky defiantly.
The Wolf Neuroi was relentless and resilient. Even after dropping the effective anti-Neuroi bombs that destroyed its roiling cloud form, the Wolf was able to slowly heal the hole Shizuka managed to poke through the concrete dome. She saw Yoshika and Patton looking up through the hole and made the decision to save her even if she ran out of magic using Yoshika's borrowed Striker Units.
Triggered by her need to heal Shizuka, Yoshika reclaimed access to her magic through the emotion of wanting to protect others. That gave her a stable flow of power from her huge store of magic and she began to use her shields as offensive weapons, shredding and crushing the Neuroi swarms. Healing Shizuka completely was a trivial matter for Yoshika in her Super Saiyan state.
The other Strike Witches followed the drone swarms to the surface after they fell back to attack Yoshika. She had destroyed so many drones, the huge dome fell and the Wolf Neuroi fell back to forming the Germania city floating in the sky. It was game over for the Neuroi after that.
The Wolf Neuroi fled, but the other witches couldn't catch up to it. The Karlsland witches Trude, Erica, and Minna didn't give up following it, but it was slowly getting away. It was until Yoshika jetted after it and slammed it to a stop with her big shield. The witches then exposed the core and Minna finished it off, clearing the sky after its explosion. The Battle for Berlin was over, but the Strike Witches' stories continue as they root more Neuroi nests in Karlsland to the south and east. Next season when? Let's hope it's not another ten years in between.
