Elaina supposedly entered a country where all your wishes come true. Instead, she found at least 16 versions of herself gathered in a castle she visited during her journeys. One busty one in particular was quite smug about her sizable advantage.
One of the Elainas, dubbed the Evil Elaina, went around trying to kill the other Elainas. She wasn't good at it, since even the dumb ones were still genius witches with strong magic. This particular one had been greatly affected by the time travel episode and didn't even try to recover her hair from the Ripper. The Hero Elaina shared her version of her journey and encouraged all the other ones to let the other ones read each other's stories to see how their choices made different journeys. This was the wish of Elaina – to find out how her different choices would let her have so many different journeys. The Elainas decided to call their book The Wandering Witch, hoping it would be better than The Adventures of Nike. We'll need to see a second season to appraise that.
Speaking of a second season, the epilogue showed Elaina bumping into another girl, and they accidentally switched diaries. That other girl is Amnesia, and she titled her diary "Read This When You Wake Up in the Morning." Now she has Elaina's diary and things will get complicated.
