Hermes convinced some of the Xenos intelligent monsters to sacrifice themselves to help regain Bell's reputation as a hero in town, but he didn't expect him to surpass the Will of the Gods. Bell's grandpa, whoever He may be, taught him different lessons about meeting girls in dungeons and letting fate, or gods, dictate his path.
Other gods had a vested interest in letting Bell fight a different monster, Asterius the Minotaur. Freya wants to see Bell become the best he can be as a Hero. Ganesha has sympathy with the Xenos since they're related to the half-monster people he protects. Asterius was the Minotaur Bell fought against to level up before the Minotaur gained consciousness, but he remembers Bell and cares for him in his own way. Asterius tied up their matches and waits for a rematch. Bell felt the agony of defeat and wishes to become stronger like all adventurers and Heroes do. The Xenos escaped, Bell thwarted Hermes plan, but fulfilled it at the same time.
Hestia was not happy with Hermes's sneaky plan to redeem Bell's reputation. That guy cares too much for what Zeus intended for Bell and should just late Fate dictate Bell's path. Eina was there to witness a monster return to the Dungeon and Ais found Bell and promised to help him grow stronger. Ais continues to warm up to Bell. She better watch out and not get ahead of any of the other girls in his harem.
