Subaru's new save point is right after he completed the first trial. He will need to collect much information about what's happening at the mansion to avoid Elsa disemboweling him again.
Elsa and a surprise mabeast proved too strong for Ram and Frederica. Subaru avoided the massacre temporarily by taking refuge in Beatrice's secret library. Subaru will need to replay this set of circumstances at least one more time to save everyone's lives.
