One of Elsa's targets was Beatrice. It appears Subaru inadvertently allowed Elsa to find Beatrice's secret library since the only one who always found it was Subaru was himself. The mystery of who is Beatrice and why she holds a Witch Cult's Gospel so dearly will be answered in Subaru's next replay.
Emilia keeps failing her trial in confronting her past and her guardian spirit Puck is unable or refuses to visit with her. The Sanctuary and its denizens remain mysterious halfway through this first half of ReZero's summer season.
