At the Giro, each rider attending a podium presentation at a stage's conclusion needs to pop a bottle of Astoria Prosecco. Prosecco is the sparkling white wine native to Italy. This means a lot of Prosecco corks pop each day which suggests a certain amount of organization is necessary to keep track of the ones for the stage winner, the combative rider, and all four jerseys. The Giro goes one step further in printing the riders' names on precut stickers. Filippo Ganna's name appeared on this bottle within minutes of his crossing the line at Camigliatello Silano.
