Four podium hostesses walk the last few meters to the finish line on Stage 2.

One of the traditions of the Giro organization's caravan, the parade of cars and floats that travel ahead of the race and celebrate with the fans lining the side of the road, is that when it arrives at the finish town, the podium hostesses who handle their respective sponsors' jerseys do their own fashion walk across the line, modeling the tight-fitting jerseys in a slightly different way than the riders do on their bikes.
