Tsuki Uzaki fretted about what her daughter Hana's friend coming over to visit, but she wasn't expecting a tall, scary man invading her home. Sakurai wanted to return the change from his purchase of a replacement futon and to pet those two cats Hana told him about.
Tsuki decided to sit far away after being scared by Sakurai's presence. She needed to discuss with Hana about spending the night at a boy's apartment first.
Tsuki noticed how well Sakurai got along with Hana, but she pushed that realization aside when she noticed him looking so intently at her. He was looking at the cat in her lap, but she thought he was looking at her ample chest. She began to think he had a thing for married older women because she had just been watching a soap opera. The cat declared she had switched on a strange flag.
Tsuki came to the Asia Café to see Hana's part-time job. The Asais reassured her about her daughter's work ethic and how well the regular customers like her. Tsuki became flustered when she discovered Sakurai worked there too. Her imagination ran wild when she overheard Sakurai and Hana discussing mature coffee beans, but she thought they were talking about Sakurai enjoying a ripe, mature Tsuki!
Uzaki beat Sakurai at a new video game and made him pick up some juice as a reward. He complained that she should be more refined like her mother. Uzaki didn't like that at all.
Hana looked like she was glaring at her mother for some reason, but it became clear she was observing her gentle mannerisms and polite demeanor.
Uzaki threw everyone for a loop at the Asia Café with her quiet and polite speech. Ami immediately blamed Sakurai for doing something to Uzaki to make her behave this way. Ami figured they could have theme days at the cafe if Uzaki persists in her polite mode. Master Asai didn't like that idea very much.
Sakurai apologized and Uzaki immediately returned to her smug, loud self. Uzaki FTW! But Sakurai's apology carried a detail about what he liked about her. Sakurai WTF! Their baka couple bickering made one of the regular children customers scold them for fighting. They felt bad about that, but Uzaki could barely hide her smile. They also wanted to use the lottery ticket the child gave them too.
They won a trip for two to Tottori, the home prefecture of Conan the Detective. At the Conan Airport in Tottori, two mysterious figures marked their prey. They're obviously Ami and Sakaki.
