Sayaka-Sensei suddenly asked the breakwater club to catch a bunch of horse mackerel. Her selfish reasoning being she's broke and needs a meal. Yuuki saw a chance to teach Hina how to prepare the small fish for consumption. Hina learned how to imagine the fish as plushie versions to gut them quickly. She got into the zone so completely, she didn't realize when she finished or how much blood she had on her hands.
Hina's mom brought her father's fishing equipment, which inspired Hina to go fishing for horse mackerel on her own. Natsumi soon joined her, aided by her folding bike and close proximity, and pointed out the small beginner's mistakes she made by choosing the wrong rod (which was her grandpa's octopus fishing rod) and buying the wrong size hooks. Once Hina made those corrections, she and Natsumi had a nice time fishing on their own.
