Toulouse, the finishing town for Stage 11, was one of the featured cities for the 1st edition of the Tour in 1903. There were only 6 stages and Toulouse was the finishing town for the 3rd stage starting in Marseilles. It was the start town for Stage 4 to Bordeaux. Caleb Ewan of Lotto Soudal scored his first Tour stage victory in his first participation at the Tour de France, marking 11 different winners for 11 different stages. 1994 was the last time there have been no repeat winners this deep into the Tour.
