At the completion of today's stage, Peter Sagan confirmed a record 112 days wearing the green sprinters' jersey during the Tour de France. This number of days also breaks Eddy Merckx's record of 111 days in the yellow overall leader's jersey. Sagan hopes to break another record at the end of the Tour, a record 7 times winning the points competition. He currently shares the record of 6 titles with German Erik Zabel.
