Sylvain Chavanel celebrated his Tour "birthday" with cake. He has raced 365 stages of the Tour, the outright record after participating in a record 18 Tours. He has only finished 15, hopefully 16 by the end of this Tour, but if he had completed all of them, he would be looking at 378 individual stages by the time he crosses the finish line in Paris.
