Hmm.

Not much to hmm about this episode, since we only had one ACTION scene and a lot of very quick fights. The important things to look out for were which players would be left to fight it out in the finale, which will be in the next episode, and what powers each of them had to see if they'll give Issei any inspiration. Also, we leave the Rias' name issue until the last episode too.

I was happy that one of the attractive Bael ladies had a prominent role and that at least one other survived to deal with Issei's Pai-lingual later on. The hooded mage did turn out to be a girl, but she was quickly dispatched too. That masked dude sits like a guy, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sairaorg had a gender-bender in his family.

Speaking of gender-benders, the only real bit of character growth garnering an emotional reaction from the viewer was from Gasper. That little dude is tough! And he's really taken Issei's lessons on the art of manliness to heart. Except for the miniskirt and thigh highs part, but it's his actions that matter.

Heh.

Kiba went first, as we saw from last week. He had to show his hand that his Balance Breaker is not Sword of the Betrayer, but Glory Drag Trooper. He can summon golems made from dragon swords, or something like that.

Aw. Koneko got defeated in her match just as the opponents were dying.

Issei wants to hold it in and let it all explode later. It's better that way, right? Wait, we're talking about, uh, emotions. Yeah, emotions!

3. A man never gives up, no matter what!

It's not like they're trying to prop up Japanese chivalry or anything.

Gah! Gasper literally got stomped by a dragon and he took it. Like a man!

It seems like the Gremory are taking out pieces at a 2 to 1 attrition rate.

The Queen piece Kuisha Abaddon looks like she'll give Issei trouble. She uses her Hole, um, just Hole, as defense and offense. Akeno had her sexy screen time earlier this season, but it's still disappointing to see her taken out so quick.

Woof. Sairaorg against Kiba, Rossweisse, and Xenovia. Death flags everywhere.

This leaves Rias, Asia, and Issei against Sairaorg's last three. That's including him, of course, because he's going to beat those other guys.

Next time, Issei better get a massive power-up from saying Rias' name when he pokes her nipples. Just saying.

While Coriana Andrealphus never got totally naked, her way of fighting was a very adult situation.

Slight continuity error with the blue jacket getting tossed last. It was probably just the pink blouse getting colored wrong. And Issei literally shot his dragon power up her butt. Yes way, Coriana, yes way!
