10 Second Anime - Shokugeki no Soma S3 - Episode 10

Rentarou from Central faces Ryou in a battle with salmon.

Episode 10 - "The Salmon Will Dance"

Heh.

Rentarou made a very brief appearance during the Moon Festival, where he walked past Alice and Ryou and glared at them. At the time, I thought, because of his piercings and tattoos, that he had some history with Ryou. It turns out, because of his gastronomic cooking style, he had the beef with Alice! That was a nice twist, and I'm glad I was paying attention.

Aw. We didn't get to see all the matches from the other halls, but they all lost and we didn't know any of the cooks except by reputation as Elite Council members. Nene had an all female crew. I would have watched that!

The Polar Dorm kids don't have to wear sunglasses to hide their identities! Well, it's kind of funny that they think they had to, and even Hisako joined them.

The twist with Rentarou was that even though he looks rough like Ryou, he cooks gastronomically like Alice. He plans to beat the Cutting Edge Cuisine Research Society with its own tools.

Nice Matrix background there, Alice. The Matrix had an Alice in Wonderland motif, so that's a fun connection to make.

This Mea girl likes to do a lot of explaining.

Why is Momo so irritated at Alice and Takumi explaining gastronomy to Souma? Does she hate that new stuff? Does she hate big kids making noise in her area? I wish this was explained here.

Ooh. Salmon wrapped in bacon...

Momo is picky about sweets. Figures. She's the best patissier at the school.

Um. How old is Momo supposed to be again? Cuz that foodgasm is kind of, huh. She's supposed to be a third year student, so we're giri-giri-safe!

Erina is bored again. Ceiling Isshiki will brighten her day! We haven't seen that ridiculous behavior since Souma first got to the dorm.

Yass! Megumi foodgasm! I don't know why a space laser is tied to a classical French royal dish, but Megumi just got blasted.

Ryou's keys to victory were sealing the salmons flavors like Rentarou, but in a much more natural French cooking way, and sprinkling his spice in an uneven way to highlight the different flavors and emphasize them. He learned that trick during his stagiaire assignment.

Flawless victory for Ryou, of course. He really got all fired up!

I just noticed that the four main Central villains have been included in the end credits near the conclusion.

Next time - Hisako shows her underwear for some reason and Tsukasa the First Seat is featured somehow.
