10 Second Anime - Shokugeki no Soma S3 - Episode 9

Souma's victory saves the Polar Star Dormitory, leading to Central's next strategy of using shokugeki to crush dissent.

Episode 9 - "Hunting the Survivors"

Heh.

Party time! Erina and Hisako have never seen Isshiki like this!

Isshiki was busy doing Elite 10 Council stuff too. He rewrote the rules of the shokugeki to stop Eizan from continuing his rigged version to demoralize everyone. With Souma winning, that plan obviously wasn't going to work anymore.

Souma knows Eizan wasn't serious about their cooking contest, so his victory feels hollow.

Azami finally removed those council members who didn't go along with his coup. Isshiki showed they can be dangerous from the inside without outwardly opposing him.

Now that the remaining groups outside of Central can challenge their dissolutions, Central is going to be busy with all those cooking contests. Thankfully for Azami, he has a big list of ambitious cooks to choose as his shock troops.

Does the Elite Council have to do their business in such poor lighting? How can they make Momo read in the dark like that?

Ah. The shokugeki strategy is called The Survivors' Hunt.

Oh. The dorm is splitting up to look at all these cooking contests. They're just telling us who our narrators are going to be in the respective halls.

Nice red road bike Takumi has. It's got to be Italian, right?

No wonder that teddy bear is pissed off all the time. Who sews the mittens back on for Momo?

So, all these Central ringers are bad guys? That Shigemichi guy just seems serious, but he might end up being a lawful evil.

Har. Alice just accidentally became the head of a research society. Ryou will fight for her.

I think Takumi and Ryou called out this Rentaro guy properly on his class resentment. We'll see if his cooking can back up his condescending attitude.

Hoh? Salmon is the contest's theme? Decisive victory for Ryou against Rentaro? It can't be that simple.

Souma seems to be good with sulky kids...

Next time - bad attitude versus badder(?) attitude. Who's the rudest of them all?
