Omake Gif Anime - Boku no Kanojo ga Majimesugiru Sho-bitch na Ken - Episode 1 - Tender Moment

In one of the few genuinely emotional moments, we can see that Akiho actually does like Shinozaki, her new boyfriend.

I have to admit that I was disappointed in how the first episode played out. I wasn't expecting a loosely connected series of gags about Akiho trying to figure out Shinozaki's sexual preferences and fetishes. How about we start with holding hands, huh? Anyway, I also didn't like the older sister childhood friend character either. I was looking forward to this show, but watching it felt like a chore. It reminded me very much of Shomin Sample, which also devolved into a series of unconnected gags.

Oh, just to put you some knowledge here, "bitch" is a Japanese loan word meaning easy or slutty, but in a less negative connotation. More like, openly affectionate and displaying sexuality. So instead of Akiho being a "shoujo" (virgin or pure girl), she's a shou-bitch (virgin or pure slattern).

The prologue covered Shinozaki's crush on Akiho, the calm, serious class representative and her quick acceptance of becoming his girlfriend. No hints at all whether she liked him before his big confession.

The opening sequence doubles down on joking about pornographic images and conventions. Also, they're really stressing how flimsy the skirt fabric is for these girls' uniforms. If the boys' pants are made of the same stuff, we should have been seeing their briefs and boxers too.

The rest of the episode showed how serious Akiho was in figuring out Shinozaki's predilections. For the sake of the humor, she has no filter for when these topics and situations should be brought up. The gym storage scene was way over the top and I hope she begins to dial it down from crossing all those fetish streams.

The opening and ending sequences show off Shinozaki's harem and a good first episode would have shown hints of these other girls. This wasn't a good first episode.

At least we got the names of these harem girls. There's Kanata, Shinozaki's younger sister, Shizuku, the neighbor girl who's a year older and makes Akiho jealous, and of course Akiho herself. The lead character is pretty and sexy in her own right.
