Izetta the Last Witch made quite the entrance by flying a gun instead of a broom to the rescue.
Princess Finé first met Izetta while playing with her pet corgi. I like this show already.
This shower scene had an actual narrative purpose: to show Finé's scar from protecting Izetta as a child.
Well, the other purpose is to show that Finé is mighty, ah, fine!
The buildup to Izetta's awakening, down to her white gown matching the legend of the White Witch, was done just right.
There's a lot of symbols jammed into this pivotal scene. A legendary witch wearing white, taking up a gun instead of a broom, flying to rescue a nation's symbol of hope in a time of desperate war; it's all good.
