The kids have a school festival before their invasion of Japan. A surprise attack by a new enemy, and an old one, complicates their plans.
Episode 9 - "Academy Festa -FIRST LIVE-"
Heh.
I don't know if it's ever been mentioned, but Kizuna is a huge nerd! He was presenting some "important findings" as a personal cultural festival presentation and he thought the boys who were all there would think the best way to get more curry sauce in the cafeteria more interesting than his other Big Data project. As if!
His other "boring" data project was constructing models of his Amaterasu team mates. This was way more than just their "3 sizes." You'll be happy to see what he came up with in the NSFW section.
Someone was NOT happy seeing this, though.
Ah, that was a funny sexy way to ease into this show's version of the school festival. Everyone, except the Hayuru Harenchi girl, had their chance to relax a little.
Reiri drinks beer. I like her more already. We need to see more of her and not in the way her friend Shikina draws her.
Ha! The haunted house had the Ring girl Sadako, who ended up being more scared of Kizuna. Man, that introduction of his groping ways in the 2nd episode gave him a bad reputation.
Speaking of bad reputations, Shikina fulfilled the fujoshi vibe I got from her lab's library. Mixed in with a smattering of Amaterasu merchandise, she's mainly selling her own doujins of Hida sibling love. Somehow, I don't think Reiri minds all that much since she doesn't take sexuality all that seriously anyway.
The Americans figured out how to run a maid café. A maid café from ero-manga, that is! Secret menus, high prices, under the table specials, ha!
They got in a good joke about their battle group being called the Masters and how they have to call everyone else "master" now.
The two sub-plots tied to the main story concerned what was going on with Batlantis after Grabel's adventures and how Aine's memories appear to be related to this other dimension.
We've got new powerful enemies to ogle.
Grabel's sticky situation showed us how this group likes to operate. Lesbian torture and bondage? Of course!
Sadism? You betcha!
The leader and rival of Grabel is this Zelshione lady. She likes whips.
She also has this interesting eye power that I'm not sure exactly how it works. All we saw is that it knocked Grabel out for a bit. I figure there's some hypnosis or mind reading going on there.
Too bad for Grabel if she hoped to hold on until she got rescued by Aldea. Zelshione broke her first. As in housebroke her. Zelshione likes to collect pets.
It appears that Grabel's faction cared about civilian deaths and collateral damage. Zelshione, not so much.
Aine's sub-plot affected the Amaterasu's concert. I have no idea how they decided they wanted to sing and dance like idols, but even Hayuru was enthusiastic for it.
I'm not sure why Aine's worries about her memories coming out during her Heart Hybrid sessions with the McFluffer matter to a public stage, but it was apparently the lame motivation needed for her to hide and Kizuna to take his own personal tour of the festival to look for her.
Thankfully he got a loli replacement in Sylvia. Kizuna apparently has a good "scouting" eye for idols.
Aine actually has valid concerns with these memories popping up during her orgasms... her recharging sessions. The places she sees look like nowhere on Earth and she's worried she might be going crazy or worse. She might be from the other side of the Entrances, since that's the only place they know of that doesn't look Earth, and that her personality might disappear if she recovers from her amnesia. This is existential angst here.
I wonder why Kizuna doesn't remember Aine. Just how many silver-haired red-eyed girls do you see running around Earth?
The big revelation, and perhaps the source of the info on a silver-haired red-eyed girl, is that Nayuta Hida, Kizuna and Reiri's mother, is with the Batlanteans.
I wonder if Reiri always knew where she went when she disappeared, fueling that anger and resentment we see in her.
Geh.
Are you getting ready?
Kizuna got Aine ready.
Looks like Grabel started a little early on this NSFW stuff.
Kizuna pushed the button on the NSFW sausage party. For an episode without action sequences, we had three ACTION sequences.
The first scene was Kizuna's uninteresting data presentation on all the things he had learned and collected about his Amaterasu teammates.
This was way more than the digital equivalent of their three sizes, blood types and horoscopes. There were analyses on what got there motors running! Sasuga McFluffer.
Kizuna had detailed information on each girl's erogenous zones and even how they change shape and intensity depending their environment. NERD! Nerd who's touched bewbs...
His fellow hornballs, er male students (but I repeat myself), celebrated this presentation, but they were rudely interrupted by Harenchi girl.
The second ACTION scene took place in Batlantis. Grabel was being adjudicated for her independent actions on Earth.
Things were not going to go well for her. For the audience, things were going very well indeed.
Grabel's rivals quickly got her in the mood for Zelshione's ministrations. This faction obviously likes to mix pleasure with pain.
Zelshione and Grabel actually had a conversation about their philosophical differences during this scene. What a great way to entertain us visually with a boring topic. What was important to note was that Grabel's intellectual and moral arguments were losing out to Zelshione's brute force tactics. The whip is not a metaphor.
Grabel thought she had a chance at a breather and that she could just hold out until her ally and lover Aldea came to her rescue. We saw how that turned out.
What is worrisome is that we saw how powerful Aldea and Grabel were on Earth, but they were utterly dominated by their rivals. Things don't look so good for our Hybrid fighters in the upcoming invasion.
The third ACTION scene dealt with Aine's reluctance to perform Heart Hybrid with Kizuna because of the disturbing flashes of memory coming back to her during her spasms of pleasure.
Like any horny boy looking to get some, Kizuna quickly convinced a reluctant girl to take off her clothes with rational reasons instead of valuing her feelings. Since this intimacy is tied to their military mission, things are complicated.
Aine hasn't had a HxH scene since her Climax Hybrid episode, which means her Hybrid Count is low. She really does need a McFluffing session. Kizuna hasn't told any of the girls that if their counts get to zero, they die, so copping a feel is really saving her life.
Yeah, save her life real good, Kizuna!
I think Kizuna is getting a little too confident in his physical technique that he's forgetting Aine's emotional trigger. She needs to be told she's cute! So this whole scene was never going to work anyway, even without the memory flash complications.
See, this is all just from physical stimulation. Aine's not going to power through her HxH induced memory flash without Kizuna also glowing from his own Heart Hybrid reaction.
It looked like it was going to work...
But no. That memory flash was too strong, and Aine is in even worse emotional shape than she was before. They have to deal with this invasion without being at full strength. I have a feeling the portable Love Room is going to get some ACTION scenes next episode too.
Next time, some of the show's biggest mysteries will get revealed when Reiri confronts her mother about why she left and what is up with all this magitech stuff anyway.
