Naruto's team defeats Kaguya. The heroes say goodbye to their many resurrected loved ones.

Episode 474 - "Congratulations"

The title of the episode isn't just for the saving the world, it's also for Naruto on his 17th birthday. That was some good emotional impact that his father who died on the day of his birth got to say it again as he left.

Sasuke and Naruto sealed Kaguya away just like the brothers Hagoromo and Hamura with Six Paths Planetary Devastation.

Are they ever going to tell us what the Six Paths are? I know, I know, we can guess from the six different powers Rinnegan users have, like Summoning, Resurrection, Chakra Manipulation, Taijutsu, Gravity Force and Sense Control. But what did Hagoromo call these things?

Oh hey, same song, new opening credits sequence. This the start of the final arc of Naruto and Sasuke's confrontation. That was incredibly nostalgic to see each of the pivotal scenes in their relationship.

The Tailed Beasts made it out alive! Kurama got to brag about Naruto!

Bunny Beast spat out the used up Jinchuriki Madara. That was satisfying.

Good for Naruto on making sure the Black Zetsu got stuck in Kaguya's grave too. He won't be around to manipulate the reincarnations of Indra and Ashura anymore. Actually, I don't even think there will be any more of their reincarnations after Naruto and Sasuke.

Reincarnations of Hagoromo and Hamura, on the other hand...

Sakura and Naruto belatedly realized they had no way of getting out of Kaguya's dimension. Well, it would have taken them a long time as they waited to collect enough chakra to use Kakashi's Kamui, but who knows how long that would have taken.

Oh, so now you know what all the assemble kages were for. Hagoromo even had to call a bunch of them back from the afterlife to pull off the summoning.

This was an episode for farewells. I liked how Naruto included all the deaths of enemies and friends that shaped his Ninja Way when the Black Zetsu belittled Shinobi History as his own work to resurrect Kaguya.

Kakashi said goodbye to Obito.

Hashirama came to an understanding with Madara before he died as an empty Jinchuriki. Not friends, but war buddies.

Hagoromo told Sasuke that he should pay attention to how those two reconciled their differences. I guess Sasuke is about as stubborn as Naruto is dumb. They're going to butt heads first, just like Hashirama and Madara.

And then Naruto said goodbye to his dad. I can't believe this whole arc from when Orochimaru came back with his reanimated kages to the sunrise was one night. It's been two years!

Are we really going to finish up the final arc in four weeks? No, I don't believe it.

Next time, Naruto and Sasuke differ on their visions of the Ninja World. That Valley of the End is going to be of The End again!
