The boys attempt one last caper to prove they were set up. Arm wrestling distracts Meiko as Gakuto searches for evidence.
Episode 9 - "Full of Bodily Fluids"
Heh.
Not much happened in terms of overall plot, but it was an episode full of hilarious gags, character moments, and fanservice. Meiko is a one woman fanservice machine!
For Meiko, her sense of style trumps her modesty.
What modesty?! She would rather go commando than wear gym shorts like Hana does. Kiyoshi will thank her later, I'm sure.
Gakuto got tired of the poop jokes. All that mortification and in the end he had to destroy the only successful outcome of Kiyoshi's escape. *snicker* It was funny, Gakuto!
The dudes are all united now. It's not enough to fight for brotherhood or for staying in school; they need to fight to stay in school to see that wet t-shirt contest!
I think Kiyoshi's goal isn't as singular as the other guys. And where's his lovey-dovey time with Chiyo? And Shingo with Anzu for that matter.
Using Meiko's strength and pride against her was the right idea. Too bad they just weren't up to the task.
Gakuto was barely a warmup for Meiko.
Here's a little more for the ladies. I really enjoyed the paired distractions for Kiyoshi and Meiko. It was just too bad that Kiyoshi didn't have something to throw off Meiko. Andre made for a good final boss.
I don't understand how the censors decide to cover things up or not.
Um, this isn't an episode of High School DxD, you know.
Shingo's story being told through newsprint comics looked interesting, but that kind of stalling wasn't going to work on Meiko. I don't even know what Joe was trying to do here.
I've seen stories use a stray hair drive a woman to distraction before (long chin hair in Ergo Proxy is the best example), but to show Meiko's inner thoughts about a tree in a desert fighting against a tornado and rooting for the tree was solid inspiration. Really, that was the best storytelling device I've seen all season.
The dueling distractions between Meiko and Andre, he of the domination tactics and she of the lonely nipple hair, was the saving grace of Gakuto's plan. Even with that hero hair, they were one minute short.
I had to laugh at Meiko's victory gesture. Yank that hair out!
After showing her mettle, Meiko was back to business.
The boys accepted their defeat. The deleted emails might still be on the PC, but they blew their best chance at retrieving them. Distracting Meiko like this isn't going to work twice.
Aw, the boys mourned their burgeoning friendships.
Geh.
How in the world can an episode based around arm wrestling end up showing so much of Meiko's skin?
Well, first we had to deal with her ripped panties.
This lead straight to Kiyoshi catching a glimpse of heaven and worrying how much he would get beat up by the other guys. They mangled Shingo over a nip-slip and in the end Kiyoshi caught a peek of Meiko like that too. Literally poked in the eye. Here, the censorship makes things worse. Kiyoshi is blocking Meiko's nethers with his chopsticks, but with the dark shadow, it looks like he might be doing something else.
Because we have to keep underboob covered up...
Kiyoshi asked the same question I did about Meiko: is she doing this stuff on purpose? The answer is no. She is really socially awkward and immodest.
In this week's Meiko's Crotch Watch, Hana offered some help, the dudes heard the bad news they were voted to be expelled, Gakuto got the matches started, Shingo wanted to finish telling his BS story, and Kiyoshi noticed Meiko getting distracted like he was but he didn't know by what.
Hmm.
This episode barely advanced the overall plot, but it was a quite well-told almost standalone story. The only characters who mattered were the boys and Meiko. It was also a good chance for the fully reconciled dudes to pull their own caper together. But just like Kiyoshi's and Gakuto's plot, the execution went through reversals and recoveries and was almost totally successful. Where the first plot muffed the part about not being caught because of social media (and Chiyo being Mari's little sister), this time they succeeded in escaping notice, but couldn't return with the goods.
The boys have accepted their fate, but the evidence is still on that computer. Is someone else going to save them? Is it time to put the boys on ice and find out if there are other factions in the school who disagree with their harsh punishment?
Updates.
If Meiko's purple panties are on the screen, 80 percent of the time, the original broadcast shaded them out. For this episode, the celestial shadows of censorship had to contend with Meiko going commando and a nipple that literally poked Kiyoshi's eye. The broadcast version let go all the free nipples, but areola attached to Meiko's ample breast was a big no-no.
Meiko's sweaty crotch showed her concern in losing to Andre's nipple hair!
The best way to recap last episode was to have Meiko's panties lose to the doorknob again.
Meiko would rather go crotch bared than resort to wearing Hana's shorts.
See? The censorship shadows made this whole scene worse... Okay, no they didn't.
Not even a hint of areola got past the censors.
Meiko's Dangerous Pokies.
And here we have the very NSFW part of the episode. What I liked was the egalitarian nature of the nipple during the arm wrestling match. Meiko distracted Kiyoshi, but Andre's nipple hair almost made Meiko lose. It's all about balance. Or, more like, no one escapes the extreme comedy situations in Prison School.
Meiko! Put those things away! You're going to poke someone's eye out! Oops, too late.
As if Kiyoshi was going to last that long against Meiko anyway. She didn't need to resort to dirty tricks to twist his arm like a pretzel.
That ending shot of two nipples colliding looked too much like whole breasts, I guess.
No, Kiyoshi. Meiko wasn't doing it on purpose.
