Okay, somehow Matsuoka calculated that Tachibana paid for repairs to the host club. I'd like to see the actuarial tables for that...

 

Tachibana missed the excitement of combat, but she still needs a reason that conforms to her sense of justice. Maybe if Yukimura told her all their opponents have ero manga on them, she would find some motivation.

Yes, it's embarrassing to be found in a strange man's apartment fondling his long hard weapon.

Matsuoka is less ashamed in showing affection for his partner. And no, Desert Eagle is not some kind of dessert. Tachibana showed she's still a girl in search of cake.

Yukimura's tougher than he looks if he can take those kicks of justice from Tachibana. Obviously, Yukimura is the otaku stand-in for this gender bender comedy.

 

Ha! Even after she rejoined, she forgot to tell Matsuoka and Yukimura that she's a girl. How long are they going to keep that up? Also, Toy Gun Gun's name was not changed for something cooler.

 

The bad guy team who seemed to be the main rivals of our heroes in the opening credits made their appearance. Two doctors and a nurse who have their own quirks and strange team dynamics. The leader type, Midori, has a thing for pandas.

"Body check" in Japan has a much different meaning than in America. Instead of smashing Tachibana in a hockey game, Midori felt her up. As a doctor, I suppose he could figure something out about her musculature and bone length to match her up with a gun that fits her by weight and size. But now he's the only one in Tachibana's sabage circle that knows she's a girl. It shouldn't be that big a deal, but I can see how the story will try to make it one. Themes of betrayal, trust, unspoken feelings... those should all be played for laughs at one point.

 

A million yen is not that much money, but a high schooler might think 10 grand in dollars is a big deal. It's a good thing Tachibana had the magic pass phrase, because a 1000 yen bill was not even close in covering the cost a new airsoft gun with all its accessories. Next time, she's going to earn that gun.
