Giro Jot del Giorno - 5/24/2015

One of the problems of riding in the rain, besides the slippery conditions, is that riders have a better chance of picking up a stomach bug. How does this happen? The wet spray and muck can accumulate on water bottles and in open mouths and riders can get sick the same way hikers do if they drink from an open stream without purifying the water. You will see experienced riders spraying water from their bottles in order to clean the grit from the nozzle before taking a drink.
