Neji leads his team and others to save Gaara and Fuu from having their Tailed-Beasts extracted.
Heh.
Fuu and Gaara show that there are two main types of jinchuuriki - the quiet loner and the hyper fool. Fuu definitely reminded Gaara of Naruto. By the time the 4th Ninja War rolled around, only Naruto and Killer B were left as active hosts. It looks like to me that the hyper fool is the better personality type to hang on to the Tailed-Beast, but obviously Fuu had been dispatched by then too.
Too bad Neji died already. He could have opened up a chakra acupuncture shop when he retired.
Fuu may be a creepy bug lady, but at least she gave us much needed comic relief.
Pfft. Gai, Asuma and Kurenai didn't even have to do anything. Gai must have been so proud.
That monk guy got caught by his own trap. Didn't he know how to stop those chains, or turn them off? Maybe the chain's downside is that once invoked, either the Tailed-Beast wins the tug-of-war or the jinchuuriki does. That's how Killer B explained it to Naruto when he finally befriended Kurama and met his mom.
Gaara is safe, the Hidden Sand kids were going to give Neji another useless Heaven scroll, and the Chuunin exams need to move on to the next part. With what Neji did in saving Gaara, we have a big hint of how he became a Jounin so quickly.
