Team Kurenai competes with Grass ninjas in acquiring the two different scrolls.

Heh.

I always forget how dumb Kiba used to be. He and Naruto were very similar when they were younger.

 

Aren't there supposed to be 10 teams competing? If so, those Grass ninjas, including themselves have tangled with 4 of the 5 teams with the Heaven scroll.

 

Team Kurenai is supposed to be a sensing team, so why didn't they do some more scouting and steal those extra Heaven scrolls without even being detected? I thought ninjas were supposed to be sneaky.

 

Whoo! Look at that blubber fly!

 

This has got to be the most disgusting matchup. Fatso leaves terrible smelling gas while Akamaru hardens sand with his urine. Gross.

 

I thought that kid with the claws was going to be wolverine based, but no. Even the mole had sunglasses.

 

Doesn't Shino have any bugs that could also burrow underground? What a mess of a sequence.

 

Hmm. 

This encounter isn't over yet, since the sensing team of Konoha can still track these guys to get their scroll back. Hopefully they put Shino in charge of strategy. Hinata isn't too assertive and Kiba is too loud and dumb. Come on, Shino. Make these other guys remember your presence.
