Naruto enlists the help of his friends to drag the other tailed beasts out of Obito.

Heh.

Naruto really does remember all that stuff he spouts off. He promised the masked Tobi that he would take that mask off him, and it wasn't just the wooden mask he was talking about. Naruto never goes back on his word, and now Naruto knows that Obito never did really throw his identity away. You can't hide in the tug of war between chakras.

Naruto doesn't know a lot of different jutsu, but the ones he does know, he figures out endless variety with them. From putting sage cloaks on his friends, to letting them use Super Rasengan, and he even involves the entire Ninja Army in the Jinchuuriki tug of war of chakra.

I remember when Naruto went through his own tug of war with Kurama, and he saw his life through the Nine-Tail Fox's eyes. In the end, Naruto just wore him down. Because he wouldn't give up. We see the parallel with Obito, except it's not just his memories, but his hopes and unrealized dreams. That part is the real Obito, not this mask where he wants to put the whole world to sleep.

Naruto can't yank on chakra he hasn't fist bumped, Thankfully Gaara has come back just in time and Killer Bee is there to get back their own shared chakra.

Hmm.

These are the kinds of episodes of Naruto I love seeing. We get reminded that his "superpower" is not the crazy ball of chakra he has, but his charisma, his ability to make friends with anyone. He won over the most stubborn of tailed beasts and then the other beasts, and he's going to win over Obito, showing him who is the real Sage of the Six Paths. Madara's not going to like that, so the shadow of betrayal is still in the air even if Obito gets stopped.

The original plan was to get all the beast chakra out of the Ghedo statue, so getting their chakra out of the Jinchuuriki is still a viable way to stop everything.

Next week, we'll have a bit of Obito Shippuuden before Naruto's Talk-no-jutsu does its work. The little Uchiha boy who wanted to become Hokage didn't die when that boulder fell on him, and he didn't die when Rin died either. Let's see what's behind that mask.
