IRL Shino had a traumatic experience with a handgun. Kirito joins Gun Gale Online. Is Shino's friend Death Gun?

Shino needs some real counseling for PTSD, not playing with guns in a video game.

Sucks to be her friend. Invites her into the game, and she ends up being way better than he is. He's also complaining about his agility stats being overspent. Is that really a good enough motive to start killing better players? I guess we'll find out, and whether that guy is actually Death Gun or not.

That guy Kirito is going to bring in his overpowered stats into another game? Oh well. I still like seeing him smack other players around with his crappy gear. It reminds me of the WoW episode from South Park, where the OP player killer was running around pretty much naked except for a helmet and a little dagger.

At least the Virtual Division is taking the investigation seriously, having Kirito play the game while being monitored. Of course, the nurse has to be his rehab nurse who knows every inch of his body. Eek!

And finally, after almost 3 episodes, we hear Kirito say those magic words: Link Start!



Boo! We have to wait 'til next episode to see our Black-clad BAMF shoot some guns and stuff.

Hmm.

That guy acting like Death Gun sure does look like Shino's friend, and good guys never smile like that. Not just done in anime, no sir. Perhaps he has some creepier reason for having the killed players' pictures X'ed out as he awkwardly paws at Sinon's picture. Sword Art Online didn't shy away from base jealousies being the motive behind other characters' actions, so hopefully we see something along those lines here as well.

I'm not sure how Kirito's stats affect his gear in games based on The Seed. I believe he keeps all his stats and levels, but enters games only with base gear. Asuna complained about his gear in ALO being reset when he does that, so why can't he put his stuff in a guild chest, or load up his buddies' packs, then reclaim the stuff when he comes back? I'm sure an exposition dump will happen to fill in new viewers.

Next episode the fun begins. Creepy guy targets Sinon. BAMF enters the scene trying to use a gun as a sword. Good times, good times.
