Finds from the Grind - Descent

Descent

I've been down the Glenoaks Blvd. descent many times, and it's always been good exercise for the forearms. I especially feel the burn right at the end with that really steep ramp at the bottom. But this time, the first visit of the year, I felt nothing. Not even a twinge. Maybe I'm lighter, my grip is stronger, or my descending skills are better where I don't squeeze the brakes so much anymore, or all three in some fashion, but that was a surprise not to feel any fatigue in my arms. Also, I can't believe I'm going to climb this thing 3 minutes faster sometime in the Summer...
