It's a nice thought, but I don't think Benedict's arms are this long

What The Pope Will Be Doing In Retirement

I must say, the cow horn handlebar has an interesting way of dealing with brake levers.

Okay, didn't need to see that...

While dissecting alligators to see how they mate, Diane Kelly, an anatomist at the University of Massachusetts, found an always erect penis:
To see how it popped in and out of the alligator's body, she tugged on various tendons and muscles in the cloaca region and found one set of muscles that caused the penis to shoot out. Another set of tendons attaches to the base of the penis like rubber bands, she said.
"As soon as those muscles relax, the penis gets whipped back into its original position."

So Totally Called It

From a tweet here:

To confirmation here:
Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said a woman at the home where the discovery occurred told detectives that the occupants had purchased the human bones on the Internet for use in the practice of Santeria, a ritualistic faith of the Caribbean.

Sony, Please, No Rush

Microsoft beat you to the market last time around with the XBox 360, but we got a year of stories about the Red Ring of Death until they hammered down their manufacturing process. Let's not repeat that with a bunch of pictures of the PS4 controller flashing a "cannot connect" message or something similar.

Best Twitter App for Windows 8 Start Screen

And, by default, the best Twitter App for Windows RT, is guess what: the website. Really. Doesn't crash when you scroll for more than twenty tweets. Doesn't crash in snap mode. Doesn't crash in the background. Why? Because Modern IE10 doesn't crash. But everything, and I mean every app, in the Windows Store sucks. Sucks really bad. If you must share something from the Modern UI, fine, download one app, and use it to share your links. But for your own sanity, do not use it to browse tweet streams. Just don't. Third Party twitter devs really need to step it up. Testing the UI on your desktop in emulator mode is not good enough. Do they even use their own software? Apparently not.
