Lucy chased after her Fairy Tail friends and serendipitously ran into Brandish, who had rescued Gray after his fight with the ash dragon slayer. Brandish caught up with Lucy with the news from her formerly evil guild and gave her a clue about rescuing Aquarius. Brandish reluctantly considered Lucy a friend.

Erza woke up in the middle of the night after she realized she had broken Kiria's "cutting" spell. It was only hypnosis-style magic, so it half-worked on her because she only had one eye. Does Kiria hypnotize clothes into accepting her slashes? Whatever. I'm glad that Fairy Tail understands its fans and makes Erza and Lucy fight in swimsuits for half a season.
